Patron Saint of Typography
In Fall of 2024, Mecca - a second-hand art supply store here in Eugene OR - put out a call for entries. The only requirement was that you had to come by the store and pick out a box or bag containing a mystery element. Your art piece could be any medium or subject matter but it had to include the mystery element. I got a box full of small white beads.

Now beads are not really in my wheelhouse but I managed to rise to the occasion: Behold St. Fonticus the Ascender! A man of mystery if ever there was one. St. Fonticus was screened on balsa wood and his halo is constructed from the cutest little white beads you ever saw.
